![]() At first it had an ultra light 23.4 lb build with American classic wheels, avid ultimate brakes, KCNC scandium pro seatpost, race face carbon flat bar, ritchey WCS stem, KCNC bearbone crankset, and full SRAM X.0 drivetrain. At the end of the 2007 spring season, I ordered a Kula 2-9 frame and sold the Turner. Jay Ellis let me borrow his Kula 2-9 for a few races to see what I thought about it, and I was hooked. Considered a trail bike, the flux worked as a XC bike, but felt sluggish on certain courses, particularly fast smooth open courses, or twisty courses without much technical terrain. At the time I was racing the Turner Flux. The bike that started the 29er Revolution, for me.
